Shipping

Primarily, for the transportation of bulk goods over long distances, it is advisable to consider maritime transportation, which is largely divided into intercontinental maritime and transcontinental river navigation.

Since the loading places in maritime transportation are strongly predetermined (ports), water transportation usually occurs as part of some combined service.

From the perspective of types of goods, we can typically talk about:

  • Liquid cargo transportation: in case of sea shipping, there is the option for liquid cargo transportation, where so-called tank or tanker ships provide the opportunity to transport several thousand cubic meters of liquid cargo, with the condition that regardless of the quantity, the storage section of the tanker ship must be rented entirely.
  • Bulk cargo: for bulk cargo, transportation is carried out with special-purpose single-deck cargo ships, which, due to their design, are easily loaded. This provides optimal transportation for customers where the cargo is homogeneous and of large volume.
  • Perishable goods: for easily perishable goods, mostly foodstuffs, we recommend refrigerated ships with adjustable temperature and humidity-controlled cargo holds, ensuring the long-term transport of goods without quality deterioration.
