Incoming material logistics

Incoming material logistics refers to all activities necessary for goods to arrive from an external location to a warehouse, value-added storage facility, or production unit. Our services extend beyond inventory reception and storage and may include:

  • Quantity and, if necessary, quality acceptance of stocks
  • Preparation of stocks for production (washing operations, unpacking operations, etc.)
  • Warehousing, by-pass, cross-docking, supplier inventory management, which involves storing and reporting stocks owned by suppliers but already available to the customer
  • Management of supplier orders
  • Handling of incoming shipments
  • Utilization of our computerized inventory management system for continuous inventory reporting, material movement management (order vs. delivery, delivery vs. receipt, etc.), analytics, and optimization analyses
  • and other value-added services.
